1. Do not Godmode. this means do not make your character overpowering to other characters. This can get annoying very fast and could result of either your character not being accepted or you being banned from the site.
2. No power-Playing. This means you can not Role-playing other members characters. You must let them decide how they are to react to your post.
3. Use past tense when Role-Playing. This is just to clear confusion and is a basic rule of narration (unless you're out-of-character) you can use to either narrate in first person "I skidded to a halt." or third person "(Insert character name here) skidded to a halt."
4. DO NOT give personal information. This includes your password, address, or phone number. Neither I nor any staff member will ask you for any of this. If you are asked, please PM me about it.
5. Maximum of 3 characters per person. We recommend creating one character at a time (RP a bit with one character first, before making another one), instead of rushing all three characters in there, it just makes it easier and less overwhelming. You can't Role-Play more than one of your characters in the same thread, as it can get confusing and hard to keep track with, But you may mention them in the same thread.
6. It is recommended that you have only one character of that type of race. This is so that you can have a feel off all the different types of creatures. Remember this is recommended but not required.
7. Playby's are allowed, but optional. Playby is using an actor, model or creatures face as your own character's to give other members a better idea of what they look like instead of a description. This is not necessary, especially if your character has very distinct features.
8. Threads that have (CLOSED) in brackets, are finished. This means you cannot add any more to it. If you have finished your thread, just modify the beginning thread to put a (CLOSED) next to the title, if any assistance is needed, PM me, I'm happy to help.
9. Wait for all role-play members. If you are role-playing with multiple people, please don't role-play back and forth with only some role-players and not all. This can make a plot progress unfairly to those who decided to take a bathroom break and realize that the thread story has changed completely without any response from their character. Give everyone time to reply to the thread and don't reply more than once until EVERYONE has role-played. If a member does not reply within 4 days of the role-play and has not messaged any of the other members participating in the role-play to warn them of their absence, then you can keep role-playing without said player.
10. You must role-play with at least 3 sentences each post you make. It is hard to keep the story going if you barely progress or change the situation within your post. Think to yourself: ‘have I actually advanced the story with this post’? If not, add more detail or action to your characters.
11. If you are doing a single thread with only yourself then put the words (SINGLE) next to the title right next to (OPEN) or (CLOSED). If you are doing this then you can make people up to come along and do things with you on threads like go hunting that way you dont have to wait for another member to reply to a post.
12. Canon characters a reserved for staff members to use only. This helps the story/plot go smoothly without having any difficulties advancing in the story.
